46 bags of heroin seized in Route 15 stop
A motor uggs on sale vehicle stop on Route 15 in Sparta led to arrests of two Sussex County women on charges of possessing 46 bags of heroin with intent to distribute the drugs, police said today. on June 13 when Sparta Patrolman Brian Hassloch uggs on sale was monitoring traffic on Route 15 and saw a Dodge Neon with front end damage, police said.
After the vehicle was stopped, the officer saw a silver spoon on the floor near the front seat passenger, and a further investigation found 46 bags of he uggs on sale roin and other paraphernalia, police said.
The driver, Shannon Ernst, 26, of Montague, and passenger, Justine Galante, 26, of Newton, each were charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, and possession of heroin, paraphernalia, a hypodermic needle and prescription drugs, police said.
Ernst also was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving uggs on sale an unsafe vehicle, driving with a suspended registration and without insurance, failing to exhibit insurance information and maintain lamps, and possessing drugs in a vehicle, police said.
Both women were released pending hearings. She was paroled in October 2006 from a halfway house, according to the state Department of Corrections offender website.
